Tests all common wiring configurations including T568A/B, 10baseT, TP-PMD, Token Ring and USOC. Tests for wiring and connection faults including reversals, opens, shorts, miswire and split pairs. Coaxial cable port identifies cable conditions including shorts, shield opens and center conductor breaks. Built-in generator provides conductor indentification and tracing. Each remote unit has a unique electronic "address", allowing the mapping of individual circuits and routing to each cable endpoint.
